What to expect
We understand the challenges of living with lipoedema and lymphoedema and are here to help you feel more comfortable and confident
Step 01
You, a family member or friend can request a private 30 minute telephone appointment with us to discuss treatment of your swelling / oedema / lymphoedema or lipoedema condition for a cost of £95. We’ll respond within 2 working days.
Step 2
One of our dedicated clinical team members will review your request and we’ll get in touch to book in an appointment to talk over the phone to make a full clinical assessment and to understand if and how we can help you further.
Step 3
If you’re eligible for treatment, we’ll get you booked in for a face to face consultation and assessment appointment in our clinic which is located in St Joseph’s Hospice, Hackney, London E8 4SA. for a cost of £250. At this appointment, we’ll conduct a full assessment, which may include measurements for compression hosiery, skin care advice, exercises to help with your condition or other things.
Frequently asked questions
Who will my appointment be with?
You will be talking to one of our team of highly experienced specialist clinicians who are experts in lymphoedema / lipoedema care.
Can I get a private appointment about my leg ulcer?
Not at the moment, our private appointments are only for swelling / oedema lymphoedema or lipoedema.
How much does it cost?
Your intital telephone consultation costs £95. Face to face appointments cost £250. All consultations and appointments must be paid for in advance via our website.
What about my GP?
We will need your consent so we can get in touch with your GP and have access to your medical records to enable our specialist clinicians to best help you. We will help you through this process via telephone as we will need a code from you which will come through as a text message. Without consent, we are unable book an appointment for you.
NHS Number
We will ultimately need your NHS number. This can be found on the NHS app if you have it, on any correspondence you may have received previously or there is an on-line service you can use to retrieve this.
