Lymphoedema Specialist Therapist
Wendy diagnoses lymphoedema and creates personalised treatment plans with her patients. Her care includes compression therapy, education, and practical tools to help people manage their condition. Wendy’s aim is to empower people with the knowledge and confidence to take control of their lymphoedema.
Anna Swinburn
Advanced Lymphoedema Nurse Specialist
Anna works with people who have complex or long-standing lymphoedema, helping them find compression options and management strategies that work for their life.
Her sessions start with listening – understanding what matters to each person and setting realistic goals. Anna wants every patient to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about what comes next.

Lead Podiatrist & BIomechanics Specialist
Fran leads on podiatry and biomechanics at Accelerate. She supports people whose movement or musculoskeletal issues are affecting their swelling or wound healing. Fran brings a holistic, expert approach to treatment and loves helping patients feel confident and clear about their care plan.
Jane Hampson
Lower Limb Nurse Specialist
Jane assesses, diagnoses and treats lower limb conditions such as venous ulcers and lymphoedema.
With over 10 years’ nursing experience — including A&E, community care and leg ulcer services — she brings deep expertise and a calm, reassuring presence. Jane works closely with each patient to create a treatment plan that fits their life.

Wound Care Nurse Specialist
Kay specialises in treating wounds linked to lower limb lymphoedema and lipoedema. She focuses on healing, preventing infections, and creating personalised plans to stop wounds from coming back.
Patients can expect an empathetic, thoughtful approach and care tailored to their needs. Her aim is for people to feel they’ve had quality treatment that really makes a difference.
