Accelerate is on a mission to improve the lives of patients with lymphoedema and wounds.
We are using our collective membership voice to deliver excellent personalised care, to bring leadership and support impactful change. We are increasing Accelerate’s reach and joining with others to call for action and to create change. We have four key delivery areas which we call our pillars – health, research and development, Dressing Optimisation and our Academy.
This report sets out some of our outstanding achievements in 2022-23 including data and stories that show:
- Accelerate patients are treated with kindness and compassion as we help heal them
- Clinical trial patients find it worthwhile being involved in our research
- We deliver tangible financial healthcare system savings for reinvestment
- Our Academy courses improve learners’ ability to diagnose and treat
But there is always more we can do … as Accelerate and as a wider sector collaborating and delivering positive change.
