One of the big highlights for Accelerate Health in 2023/24 was the elevation of the patient voice, creating real partnerships in healthcare

Commitment to quality and safety

Quality and safety remain paramount to us. With no serious incidents reported this year and our third consecutive Gold Star in Health and Safety, we’re proud of the robust governance structures that support our continuous improvement. Our efforts in early intervention have also led to a dramatic reduction in cellulitis episodes among our patients, from 32.77% at initial assessment to just 3.02% post-treatment.

Sharing knowledge and driving change

Beyond clinical care, Accelerate Health has broadened its impact through education and national collaboration. Our centres welcomed 35 clinical visitors keen to learn from our practice, while patient representatives participated in major events like the Let Silence Speak conference and the Public Policy Projects annual wound care conference.

Together, these efforts underscore our commitment to leading and sharing best practices, improving lives, and championing real change in wound and lymphoedema care.
