About this service
This is where you can order your British Standard Hosiery for identified patients on the Tower Hamlets Prevention Programme. Please ensure you measure the patient correctly before completing your request (see the bottom of this page for measuring guides.
Once submitted, your order will be processed directly with the suppliers and the hosiery sent direct to the practice for your personal attention.
Medi guide for measuring the patient to get the correct size
All Duomed soft measurements should be taken on the bare leg in centimetres. Ensure that the tape measure is snug but not tight.
Measurements should be taken when the leg is rested and not swollen.
Please consider that selecting the right size is very important.

A size indicator can be found by a coloured thread in the stocking
A: Widest part of the thigh (5cm below the groin)
B: Widest part of the calf
C: Just above the malleolus (ankle bone)
D: From back of heel to the longest toe
